Monday... Have you experienced this? Have you?
David writes in Psalm 32:1 (NLT), "Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!" Have you experienced that? Have you?
He goes on. Verse 2 says, "Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!" Have you experienced that joy? Have you?
Here is another experience that you may have had. Verses 3 & 4 says, "When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat." Maybe that is what you did and what you felt. Is that what you experienced?
You don't have to but it can lead you to verse 5, "Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, 'I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.' And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone."
Is that true of you? Have you confessed all your sins to Him? Have you stopped trying to hide your guilt and has He forgiven you and all you guilt is gone."
Is that true of you? It can be. Just pray, Lord, I confess all my sins to you. I'm going to stop trying to hide my guilt. I'm confessing my rebellion to You. And I thank You for forgiving me. All my guilt is gone!
Now that is such a great experience that you can have! Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
