Tuesday... There are different ways to use it. I'm talking about the word, when.
It can be used as a question. Such as, when are we going to get back to normal? When is someone going to take care of this pandemic, this work situation, this marriage problem? When, when, when? That can be asked with wonder but it can also be asked with anxiety, with despair, with even fear.
But it can also be used as a word of faith. Psalm 14:7 (CEB) "When the Lord changes his people's circumstances." (AMP), "When the Lord restores His captive people." (NLT), "When the Lord restores his people." that brings a total different response. Those are statements of faith. When He does it.
The MESSAGE says verse 7 this way and it starts with a question, "Is there anyone around to save Israel? Yes, God is around; God turns life around. Turned-around Jacob skips rope, turned-around Israel sings laughter." The NLT says, "When the Lord restored his people, Jacob will rejoice." And so will we.
God is in control and our when is a statement of faith. When He restores us we will rejoice. So maybe we could rejoice a little early because we believe it is going to happen. Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
