Tuesday... Nothing we do for the Lord is useless. Do you know that? Did you need to hear that today.?
I Corinthians 15:58 says, "So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord," and here it is, "for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." It never is.
Oh it may not be up front, oh it may not get all the attention, oh it may not be successful in the eyes of everyone else but "nothing you do for the Lord is useless." Hold you head up high, be strong, be immovable, do it enthusiastically, because nothing you do for the Lord is useless.
The Amplified Bible puts it this way, "Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose]."
Aren't you glad that God has given you something that is meaningful to Him for you to do?
NIRV says, "Because you belong to the Lord, you know that your work is not worthless."
NIV, "Always give yourselves fully to the Lord, because you know that your labor is not in vain."
MSG, "Throw yourself into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort."
KJV, "Therefore, my brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always resounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
So let's get up and go do it, "because nothing you do for the Lord is useless." Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
