Saturday... I never will, I never will.
What do you see as you look back on your life? Are there things that you wish you could do over? I'm sure there are but there are some things that you never regret doing, aren't there?
The writer of Psalm 71 (MSG) in verse 1 says, "I run for dear life to God, I'll never live to regret it." Now if you have never had a relationship with God you do not understand what he is saying but if you have had God in your life then you can look back and see the differences He has made in your life. And you also can say, "I run for dear life to God, I'll never live to regret it."
He goes on, verses 2 & 3 (NLT), "Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me and set me free. Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress." Verse 5, "O Lord, you alone are my hope." Verse 7, "My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you. I declare your glory all day long."
And then he says in verse 9, "And now, in my old age, don't set me aside. Don't abandon me when my strength is failing."
No, there is no way that I regret having a relationship with God. No way. Thanks, God for being in my life! Yes, yes! "todaysbeginning
