Sunday... Here is what we need to see in the time that we are living in.
Genesis 45:4-6 (NLT), "And he said again, 'I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt. But don't be upset, and don't be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives. This famine that has ravaged the land for two years will last five more years, and there will never be plowing or harvesting.'" I know, I know, we want so much to play the blame game, don't we?
It sounds a lot like this pandemic that we are going through, doesn't it? We really don't know how long it is going to last. But God has sent his messengers to lead us. He has. Verses 7&8 (NLT), "God has sent me ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors. So it was God who sent me here, not you."
David says in Psalms 27:1 (NLT) says, "The Lord is my light and salvation-so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble."
And then verse 14 says, "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
